The Costume Contest is CreepyCon’s ultimate showdown of creativity, craftsmanship, and creep factor! Open to ages 13 and up, this contest invites cosplayers, horror fans, and Halloween lovers to hit the stage and show off their most impressive looks. Whether you’re rocking a handmade monster, a screen-accurate slasher, or an original spooky creation, you’ll be judged on detail, originality, and presentation. Expect fierce competition and killer prizes.

The Kids Costume Contest is perfect for young creepers ages 12 and under who love dressing up and showing off their spooky style! From adorable monsters to pint-sized slashers, this contest celebrates imagination, creativity, and Halloween spirit. Costumes are judged on originality, presentation, and overall awesomeness—no scares required (but they’re welcome).

The Scream Queen Competition is one of CreepyCon’s most thrilling and hilarious live contests. Participants take the stage and let out their most terrifying, over-the-top scream in front of a live audience. It’s not just about volume—judges also consider creativity, performance, and crowd reaction. Open to all ages and genders, this contest celebrates horror fans who know how to bring the drama. Winners take home cash and creepy prizes!

Crypt Tease – Burlesque Variety Showcase
Kick off your CreepyCon weekend with Crypt Tease, hitting the main stage Friday, August 1st at 8 PM. This thrilling variety show blends the art of burlesque with a spooky twist, featuring a cast of talented performers bringing horror-inspired flair, humor, and seduction to the spotlight. Expect an unforgettable night of eerie elegance and over-the-top fun as both new and returning faces take the stage. Bring your energy—and your dollar bills—as we wrap up the first night of CreepyCon with a bang!
Doctor Finnegan’s Circus – Shock Sideshow Spectacle
Step right up for Doctor Finnegan’s Circus, the wild, weird, and wonderfully unhinged sideshow making multiple appearances all weekend long at CreepyCon. Often called “The Looney Tunes of Sideshow,” this award-winning trio combines classic circus stunts with outrageous comedy and a twisted flair. Expect sword swallowing, human blockhead antics, feats of indestructibility, and surprises you won’t see coming—all delivered with high energy and a devilish grin. Some performances are family-friendly; others turn up the spice after dark. Either way, you’ll be laughing, cringing, and begging for more.
Join us on August 2nd at the CreepyCon Main Stage for Gertrude’s Creatures of the Night, a high-energy drag show on the main stage at the Knoxville Convention Center. This showcase brings together a fierce lineup of performers—from returning fan favorites to exciting new faces—blending horror, glamour, and outrageous fun. Whether you’re a longtime drag enthusiast or brand new to the scene, you won’t want to miss this electrifying experience. Bring your dollar bills and prepare to be thoroughly entertained.
Greg Carney & The KTown Zombies – Thriller Dance Performance
Get ready to move… or at least watch the dead do it better. Catch Greg Carney & The KTown Zombies as they take over the stage on Saturday, August 2nd with their electrifying Thriller-inspired performance. This choreographed spectacle brings the undead to life with precision moves, horror vibes, and a whole lot of attitude. Whether you’re a diehard Michael Jackson fan or just love seeing zombies break it down, this is one performance you won’t want to miss.
Knox Aerial Arts
Head over to the aerial arts or lyra performance areas on the show floor all throughout the weekend and watch as these performers defy gravity in breathtaking stunts and routines. The aerial arts performance area is set on the light side of the show floor and the lyra performance area is set on the dark side.
The Kreature Korner Live – Celebrity Interactive Interview
Make your way to the main stage on Saturday, August 2nd at 2pm to check out this live interview/game show style experience. Join our Monster of Scaremonies, The Grand Duke of Spook, as he subjects our celebrity guests to his unpredictable and hilarious Q&A style talk show! Crowd participation is encouraged.
Rot the Runway – Fashion From Beyond the Grave
Make your way to the main stage on Saturday, August 2nd at 6 PM for Rot the Runway, CreepyCon’s original horror fashion experience presented by Mallory Bertrand Photography. This twisted runway show fuses high fashion with haunting visuals, showcasing one-of-a-kind looks that blur the line between couture and creature. Every costume, character, and concept is designed and crafted by Mallory herself—bringing a singular vision to life in stitches, scars, and style. Whether you’re into elegance with a side of eerie or gore with a dash of glam, this show will leave you gasping. Come see what’s stalking the catwalk… and maybe steal a few ideas for your next undead ensemble.
ROTN Reviews – ROTN Revue Variety Show
Make your way to the main stage on Friday, August 1st at 6:15pm, and again Saturday, August 2nd at 11:15am for a talent and performance show by ROTN Reviews! With multiple members of their ever growing community of actors and laureates, they will entertain you and show you how easy it can be to let go and become amazing. Multiple people, multiple acts, even some crowd participation. They can do almost anything! They may not be good at it, but you will have an amazing experience watching them try!
Sandsation Dancers– The Witches Dance
Make your way to the main stage on Saturday, August 2nd at 4:30pm to watch (and maybe participate) in the Witches Dance with Sandy Larson & the Sandsation Dancers! Enjoy this performance along with sword dancing and if you know the Witches Dance, you can dance along. There will also be a class on the dance earlier in the day if you want to learn!
Sean Ridgeway-Mentalist/Magician
Sean Ridgeway is a multi-award-winning entertainer who has brought his unique blend of comedy and magic to thousands of audiences nationwide. His one-man show, “Catch Me If You Can”, has garnered rave reviews from colleges, cruise ships, comedy clubs, companies and theaters across the country. Sean has competed in FISM (the world championships of magic) and has been featured on season 7 of America’s Got Talent and season 10 of Penn and Teller: Fool Us. In 2023, he also completed a 365 Days of Magic challenge on YouTube, where he uploaded an original creation every single day for the entire year. Catch him on the main stage on Saturday performing eerie acts to confuse and amaze!
Unity Suspension – Flesh Hook Suspension Performances
Not for the faint of heart! Unity Suspension brings their powerful and visually intense flesh hook suspension acts to CreepyCon all weekend long. Witness this unique blend of artistry, ritual, and raw physical endurance as performers are lifted into the air using only flesh hooks, creating a stunning display of strength, trust, and body modification. These performances on the Dark Side stage are equal parts shocking and awe-inspiring, offering a rare glimpse into an extreme subculture that challenges the limits of the human body. Whether you’re drawn by curiosity or appreciation for the craft, this is a show you won’t forget.
